Kia is an amazing teacher. He taught me to read music and introduced music theory to me so that I would have a more meaningful experience with my classical guitar lessons. I am a slow learner in this and I don’t have much talent, but he is so patient and knows the right balance of encouragement and challenge. He intuitively knows when I’m getting too frustrated and will give me a simpler challenge. I think I would have given up if it weren’t for his gentle, patient demeanor. He also is a talented musician and knows so much about the classical guitar. I highly recommend him!!
